Abstract

This survey pretends to introduce a general overview around the videogames industry, its history and the current approaches around this market. Besides, in order to cover the analytical techniques, it also introduces some methodologies used in behavioural analysis, specially those focused on the gamer profile. Finally, it gives some notions about the Data Mining techniques currently used in the literature, and in this case, specially focused on time series and clustering.
